Monarch Plank Premio Vento is a red oak engineered hardwood from Monarch Plank’s Premio collection. Monarch Plank developed Premio to give prime-grade American oak light, neutral shades at a sensible budget. Monarch Plank specializes in wide-plank engineered hardwood across several species, with matching herringbone options in some lines. Plank specs: 6-1/2″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 4 mm top layer, lengths of 23″–86″. Details: grade: prime; surface: smooth; finish: UV Urethane, ultra-matte. Install options: nail-down, glue-down, float. Color and Appearance

Vento has a smooth surface and a smoked and reactive-stained color treatment, with a ultra-matte finish. Monarch Plank does not publish a written description for this color, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
