From Monarch Plank’s Dover line, Citadel is a European oak engineered hardwood. Dover pairs robust 25/32-inch construction with long European oak planks and Monarch’s color treatments and coatings. Our Monarch rep confirms current availability for each color when you order. Details: grade: rustic; surface: smooth; finish: UV Urethane, ultra-matte. Color and Appearance
Citadel has a smooth surface and a reactive-stained color treatment, with a ultra-matte finish. Monarch Plank does not publish a written description for this color, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
