Overview
Hennessy Standard Umber is a Maple engineered hardwood from Hennessy’s Standard collection. Standard Series planks are 5/8 inch thick and 7.5 inches wide with a 4 mm top layer that can be fully re-sanded, 75-inch random lengths and a satin finish, for a clean, understated look. Dimensions: 7.5″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 4mm top layer. Length: 75″ random lengths. Finish: Everlust UV lacquer. Coverage is 23.31 sq ft per box. Manufacturer item number: B3671E38. Hennessy does not publish a written description for Umber, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Hennessy's published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty.
Hennessy Wood Floors provides a lifetime limited residential finish warranty: the finish is warranted not to wear through under normal use for the life of the product. It applies to the original purchaser, requires installation to Hennessy's instructions including a subfloor moisture test, and has other conditions and exclusions. Claims are made through your retailer within 30 days of finding the problem, with proof of purchase. Commercial use carries a separate 10-year finish warranty for light and medium traffic.
