Overview
From D&M’s Allure 8″ line, Halo is an American oak engineered hardwood. Per our product page, Halo is 8″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 4mm top layer; random lengths up to 86.5″. Bring your room measurements to the showroom and we can talk through layout, transitions and trims. Grade: select; surface: smooth; finish: UV cured urethane. It can be installed by nail/staple with glue assist, glue down, float. Each box covers 28.9 sq ft. Manufacturer item number: SAL802. D&M does not publish a written description for Halo, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
