About this floor
Bergamo Oak Tramonto Premio
Overview
From Bergamo Floors’ Premio line, Oak Tramonto Premio is a European white oak engineered hardwood. Bergamo produces its floors in Italy, mixing traditional handcraft with modern machinery, and lists Eurofins, CATAS, CE and TSCA Title VI compliance. Grade: prime; finish: matte-brushed, UV-cured water-based polyurethane; edge: micro-beveled long sides, square ends; core: multi-ply cross-ply baltic birch plywood. Size: 9.5″ wide, 5/8″ (15mm) thick, 4mm hardwood top layer; Random lengths up to 92.5″ (2350mm). Warranty (Bergamo): 50-year residential finish · 10-year commercial · lifetime structural. Made in Italy. Compare Oak Tramonto Premio with other Bergamo colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.
Color and Appearance
Double-stained with a whitewash finish on wide Prime grade boards for a clean, contemporary look.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered plywood core. It is more stable than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes, and the 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
Available Options
The Tramonto color also comes as: Oak Tramonto (7.5″, Light Character); Oak Tramonto Bene (9.5″, Light Character); Oak Tramonto Herringbone (Herringbone). See all Bergamo floors.

Care & installation
Install, care & delivery
Installation
Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, allow the boards to acclimate, and choose a glue-down, nail-down or floating method that suits your subfloor. Bergamo has not published approved installation methods for each product, so we confirm them with the distributor before your install. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for polyurethane-finished wood. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady. Very dry air can cause small seasonal gaps.
Delivery & warranty
Bergamo flooring is typically ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time. Delivery available, charged separately based on job site location and project size.
Warranty.
Bergamo warrants the surface finish for 50 years in residential use and 10 years in commercial use, plus a lifetime structural warranty. Coverage is for the original purchaser, requires installation by a licensed flooring contractor and NWFA care, excludes stairs from the wear-through coverage, and applies trade allowances (5% for milling and grading, 10% for finish wear). Moisture, humidity and installation-related damage are not covered. Read the full terms on Bergamo's warranty page.
