Artisan English Forest Hickory Carmel is a hickory engineered hardwood floor from Artisan Hardwood’s English Forest collection. It has a 2 mm real-wood top layer, 1/2″ overall, in 7-1/2″ wide planks in random lengths up to 6-1/3′.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
