Not every home wants a pale floor. Warm honey, soft greige and deep brown oak bring a sense of comfort and weight, and they flatter wood cabinetry, leather and warm white walls. Choosing between them is easiest in person, so we keep these colors at the Glamour Flooring showroom on Victory Blvd in Woodland Hills. Here are six medium and dark European oak colors from our Glamour Stock line, from warm to deep.

All six are European oak engineered hardwood in the Glamour Stock Los Angeles Wood Flooring Series. Five are listed among our medium colors and one, Tarzana, among our dark colors. Their product pages recommend them for living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and entries, and home offices. Planning a kitchen? Ask us first and we’ll check the room. The city names are just color names, including our Woodland Hills color, named after the neighborhood where our showroom sits.

Why Engineered European Oak
Each of these floors has a real oak top layer glued over a cross-built core. That construction moves less than solid boards through seasonal humidity changes. Depending on the product’s installation instructions, engineered flooring can be glued down or floated over a concrete slab, which suits many Southern California homes. European oak’s tight, even grain takes warm and deep tones evenly, so medium and dark colors look rich instead of blotchy.
