Pebble Island: the wider Old Carmel plank from Oasis
Pebble Island is from Oasis Wood Flooring's Old Carmel collection. At 8-3/4″ wide with boards from 3.5′ to 7′, it is broader and longer than the 7-1/2″ Carmel line, which suits larger rooms.
Look and design
Oasis lists the surface as wire brushed, so the grain is opened up and you can feel it underfoot. The mix of 3.5′ to 7′ lengths spreads the end joints out naturally. Oasis does not describe Pebble Island's color in writing; see it next to your paint and cabinets.
Construction and specs
Pebble Island is a 9/16″ engineered plank with a European oak face over a layered core. Each carton covers 20.84 sq ft. Oasis part number OC09C. Texture like this helps everyday wear blend in.
Where it works best
Living rooms, family rooms, bedrooms, hallways and offices. With float and glue on Oasis's list, it can also go over a concrete slab once the slab passes a moisture test.
