About this floor
Vellichor Galaxy Andromeda
Overview
Andromeda is one of the colors in Vellichor’s Galaxy collection, made as an SPC rigid core vinyl plank. Galaxy is one of Vellichor’s VibranCore SPC collections: a 9-inch rigid-core plank, 7.5mm overall. Per our product page, Andromeda is 9″ wide, 7.5mm (6mm rigid core + 1.5mm IXPE pad) thick, 20 mil, ceramic bead wear layer. Surface: light embossed wood texture; edge: micro-beveled on 4 sides; core: stone-polymer rigid core (40% stone / 60% pvc), virgin material. It can be installed by uniclic click, floating. Our table lists attached underlayment (1.5mm IXPE foam, anti-microbial). Each box covers 22.44 sq ft. Manufacturer item number: VC-607.
Why SPC
SPC vinyl is fully waterproof, very dent-resistant and stays flat over small subfloor imperfections, which makes it a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, rentals and homes with pets. The attached pad softens footsteps and reduces sound.
